Since May 2010 Omniprove and CPIS have worked in close association, under the SEI partnership of CPIS, to train and support clients applying the well-established principles of CMMI to help them achieve their appraisal requirements and business goals. Over the last few years our two partner companies have worked together on the development and application of TickITplus, led by Dave Wynn of Omniprove, principle author of TickITplus. With this strong bond, common background and shared vision, Omniprove and CPIS are in the unique position of being able to train, advise, coach and, if necessary, appraise organisations in either CMMI, TickITplus or both, potentially postponing or removing the need to choose between the two approaches. For clients who have chosen alternative models or standards to guide their quality aspirations, our partnership has experience of most other approaches, models and standards in use today.

CPIS was established by Roger Gamage in 2005. Roger has over thirty five years' experience of managing and implementing the development of software and hardware products, and software intensive systems, and has previously held senior project and departmental management roles with major companies including Dynatech Corporation, Philips, Simoco, Trend Communications and NEC. For nearly ten years, as a certified CMMI® instructor, a PRINCE2 practitioner, and more recently, a registered TickITplus practitioner and member of the TickITplus BPL working group, Roger has championed our pragmatic approach to change and has helped many companies and individuals to improve the way they organise and manage software and product development, and service deployment
